Introduced in 1974 and manufactured in Japan. This is a deluxe engraved version of the standard Model 101 and features a coin finished receiver, trigger guard and forearm latch assembly. The receiver has floral scroll engraving covering 65% of the surface with tight whirls and detailed fine lines. The upper tang and trigger guard have simple border engravings. With a high visibility red dot front and white bead mid sights, on a matte vent rib marked "PIGEON GRADE". Choked full/improved modified with 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors checkered single selective trigger and engraved tang mounted safety/selector. Mounted on a fancy checkered high gloss forearm and pistol grip, high comb stock with a vented Winchester recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent overall with 98% original blue and coin finishes displaying only minimal light handling marks on the barrels and receiver. The wood is excellent with attractive grain and nice figuring displaying some light handling marks and minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.
