Manufactured in 1983 with the unique Coltguard Electroless nickel finish adjustable post front sight and AR-15 pattern upper receiver with two position rear sight and no forward assist and a bird cage type flash hider on the full length barrel marked "C MP CHROME BORE". Front area of upper receiver is stamped with the Colt "C" and "VP" proofs. Equipped with a long triangular handguard, checkered pistol grip and a fixed composite stock, with a black nylon web sling.

Excellent with 98% of the original matte nickel finish. Rifle displays small areas of discoloration and surface spotting, primarily around screws and pins. Scattered light handling marks and some shallow scratches are present, as well as some small areas of edge wear. Stock is very good with minimal scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
