A) Remington Arms Model 51 Semi-Automatic Pistol in Desirable .32 Caliber

Description:

Manufactured from 1918 to 1934, this is a later styled model in the desirable 7.65 mm. Features a blade front and square notch fixed rear sights on a serrated sighting plane with grip and thumb safeties, 15 groove slide serrations, 8-shot magazine, and two-piece checkered black hard rubber grips with "REMINGTON/UMC/TRADE MARK" embossed within a circle. The top of the slide is marked with the two-line address/patent information. The right side of the slide is marked, "Remington/TRADE MARK", with an anchor stamped on the top front of the trigger guard. The left side of the frame is stamped with the serial number.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 60% of the original blue finish. Displaying areas of edge wear, muzzle wear and thinning blue finish on the front strap and trigger guard. Grips are fine, with crisp checkering, and clear markings. Mechanically very good.

Description:

This is one of 957 .32 Semi-Automatic Pistols Smith & Wesson manufactured from 1924 to 1936. It was an improved version of the .35 Automatic. The slide has the two line address/patent dates marking with the left side marked "SMITH & WESSON" and the right side marked "32 AUTO. CTG". The left side of the frame has the S&W logo with the right side of the frame marked "MADE IN U.S.A." Equipped with fixed sights. With a correct grip safety. Fitted with smooth S&W medallion grips.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished. With 80% of the current high polished blue finish. Displaying scattered scratches, dings and slight pitting. Grips are fine, with the left panel being slightly off sized, and having a small crack below the screw. Mechanically needs adjustment.
