In 1985, 480 Model 12 Pigeon Grade Shotguns were manufactured in the Model 12 Custom shop at the U.S. Repeating Arms Company in New Haven, Connecticut. This is one of the last "Y" series shotguns. Features an white front bead sight with steel mid bead sight. A pigeon is engraved above the serial number on the bottom side of the barrel. "WINCHESTER MODEL 12 - 12 GA. 2 3/4 CHAM / MADE IN NEW HAVEN. CONN U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL/ SKEET" marked on left side of barrel. Jeweled action and follower. Engraved scene of ducks in a marsh on right side, and two dogs on point with a Grouse in flight in a wooded scene on the left side of the receiver. Fancy select American walnut checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a metal Winchester grip cap, and checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. With a 13 3/4 inch length of pull. Complete with box numbered to gun, papers and congratulatory factory letter certifying the above information.

Near new with only slight handling/storage marks. The box is very good with some minor aging. Mechanically excellent.
