Produced between 1945 and 1953. Blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sights and a tang mounted adjustable peep sight. With standard markings on the left side of the barrel and matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard. Extra fancy walnut pistol grip stock and forearm with checkering and a checkered Winchester hard rubber buttplate.

Very good, with 85% of the current blue finish. Displaying areas of edge wear, surface scratches, cycling marks, some light spotting and an area near the muzzle with light pitting that has been touched-up. The wood is very good as freshened with attractive grain and some nice figuring. Displaying light to moderate pressure indentations and moderate scratching. The buttplate has a few chips at the toe. Mechanically excellent.
