The Winchester Model 52 earned the nickname "King of the 22s" not long after it was introduced in 1920. It has been called "perfection in design" by writer Herbert Houze and earned its place in many top firearms list. This rifle was manufactured in 1951. It features a ramped and hooded bead front sight, a receiver mounted adjustable Lyman peep sight, and a checkered walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend cap, sling swivels, Winchester hard rubber grip cap, cheek rest, and checkered steel buttplate. It has "SPORTING" ahead of the trigger guard and standard Winchester barrel and receiver markings and drilled/tapped for scope bases. Includes a leather claw type sling.

Very fine with 95% of the current blue finish. Showing some light edge wear, and small handling marks scattered. The wood is very good, with sharp checkering, and some areas of abrasion. Mechanically excellent.
