Manufactured in 1950 during the transition period (late 1945-51). The rifle has standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The polished bolt is numbered to the gun. It features a hooded ramp front sight, adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, scope mounting blocks on the receiver, and the late style safety. It is mounted on a multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate.

Near excellent as partially refinished (stock). The rifle displays only minor handling and storage type marks overall and some light cycling marks on the bolt. The stock is very fine as revarnished.
