Manufactured in 1956. Hooded ramp front sight, aftermarket two leaf rear sight and receiver tapped for scope and sight mounting. Winchester factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Polished bolt numbered to the gun, straight receiver tang, late safety and sling swivels. High comb pistol grip stock with checkering and solid Winchester recoil pad.

Fine. The rifle retains 85% plus original blue finish with some thinning to a gray. The stock is very good with a number of minor handling marks and a few blemishes in the checkering. The forearm screw is missing. Mechanically excellent.
