Manufactured in 1953, the second year of production for this model. Integral "type 5" hooded ramp front sight and a folding Marbles rear leaf sight. The top of each receiver bridge is drilled and tapped for scope mounting and the left rear side is drilled and tapped for a rear sight. Receiver has the tapered tang and the safety is the "Late" type. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with sling swivels and a checkered aluminum buttplate. Complete with leather sling.

Very fine with 85% plus of the original blue finish with scattered scratches, dings and muzzle wear. The stock is good with scattered scratches, dings and pressure dents. The checkering is crisp. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
