This Sterlingworth double has steel bead front sight, is choked modified/full, has 2 5/8 inch chambers with an extractor, automatic tang safety, and double triggers. It is fitted on a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered plastic grip cap and serrated plastic buttplate. The sides of the casehardened frame have zigzag borders and are marked "STERLINGWORTH". The matching serial number is marked on the water table, barrels, trigger guard, and forearm. The right barrel is marked "STERLINGWORTH FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL", and the left is marked with the one line A.H. Fox address. The length of pull is 14 inches.

Very fine. With 90% of the current blue and casehardened finishes. The barrels display scattered small surface scratches and light dings overall. The right barrel displays an area of light pitting that has been cleaned and touched up. The action shows areas of edge wear as well as some light handling marks. The wood is good, with well defined checkering. The buttstock does show some heavier scratches that have gone through the current gloss varnish finish as well as areas where the varnish has thinned down to the natural wood.
