1) Bronze of President Abraham Lincoln holding the Emancipation of Proclamation by Leonard Volk (Am.1828-1895). This outstanding massive bronze sculpture of a standing President Lincoln who holds in his hand the "Proclamation of Emancipation". Lincoln is dressed in formal attire of the period and has a slightly bowed head. The bronze is signed on the right side "COPYRIGHT BY/LEONARD W. VOLK, 1891". The bronze rests on a circular 2 1/4 inch thick black marble plinth. The statue dimensions are 34 inches in height, 13 inches in width and weighs approximately 95 pounds. The artist knew Lincoln first hand and he is famous for the "Death Mask" of Lincoln's face. 2) Bronze oval plaque of President Abraham Lincoln by Henry Melvin Shrady (Am.1871-1922). This oval plaque depicts the side bust view of President Lincoln repoussed from the oval frame. The backside is inscribed Henry Melvin Shrady on the top side of the plaque while on the bottom part is inscribed "CAST BY HENRY BONNARD BRONZE CO./NEW YORK, 1890". Size is 5x4 1/4 inches, Weight is 1/2 pound.
