This Banker's Special was shipped to Belcher & Loomis Hardware Company in Providence, Rhode Island, on November 17, 1934, in its current configuration according to the included factory letter. It almost certainly arrived there in the included matching numbered maroon factory box which includes the "Shooting Suggestions" pamphlet and a bore brush. It has the standard Banker's Special model markings and features including checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions.

Near new in box with only a few slight scratches, a faint drag line and minor handling marks. The restored box is very good with some staining, general storage type wear and some separation along the hinge.
