Manufactured in 1937. Flattop frame with adjustable blade front and adjustable rear sights. Standard markings including "OFFICERS MODEL 38 / HEAVY BARREL" on the left barrel side and two-line address/patent dates on the top. Shoed trigger, checkered hammer and back strap. Fitted with a set of Colt post war, checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions.

Very fine, with 85% plus original blue finish displaying some small areas of edge wear, minor dings, slight drag line on cylinder and scattered freckling. Grips are very good oversized replacements with well defined though slightly smoothed checkering. The right panel has had a break repaired. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1933. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent dates, "POCKET/POSITIVE 32 POLICE CTG." on the left side and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Half moon blade front, frame notch rear sights, all blue finish and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in an oval at the top.

Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish displaying scattered light handling marks, slight drag line on the cylinder and some light freckling on the grip straps. The grips are very good, with well defined checkering, clear Colt markings and some small cracks near the toe of the right panel. Mechanically excellent.
