This pre-WWII 1st issue revolver (serial number 331,000-490,000) was manufactured in 1931 with standard Colt barrel markings, the Rampant Colt on the left side plate, and trigger guard stamped with "3" and Colt factory triangle proof. It is fitted with checkered Rampant Colt medallion grips. The included factory letter confirms the configuration (grips "Not Listed") and that this revolver was part of a two gun shipment sent to Powell & Clement Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 24, 1931.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 90% plus original blue finish displaying some small areas of edge wear and light handling marks. Small line on the cylinder and some scattered light surface scratches and a marred crane retention screw. The grips are excellent with well defined checkering and some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
