This rifle is built on a DWM Model 98 action by the late Ed Mason with a custom barrel fitted with a sling swivel stud, dovetailed bead/blade front sight and notch rear sight with two folding leaves graduated to 200 and 300 yards. It is mounted with a Pecar 4x81 scope on claw mounts and a fancy burled walnut stock with multi-point checkering on the pistol grip and forend, cheek rest, contrasting rosewood forend tip, case colored grip cap, Decelerator recoil pad and case colored sling swivel stud. The barrel is marked "Ed Mason, Memphis" in cursive script. The action has the serial number on the right side and the DWM markings on the left ahead of the bolt release. It is finished mostly blue with case colored and niter blue accents.

Very fine as custom built. The rifle retains 90% plus of the finish with some cycling wear on the action and general handling/storage type marks. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering and only slight handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent with crisp markings. The optics are clear.
