This rifle has a fixed blade front sight on a textured ramp and Lyman Alaskan scope number 39398. There is floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the muzzle, breech, trigger guard and scope rings along with the French gray grip cap and buttplate. There are several German proofs throughout, "Sportmodell [Walther banner] Meisterbuchse" in gothic script on the barrel and "Waffenfabrik Walther/Zella-Mehlis Thuringen" in matching script on the receiver. It is mounted on a European walnut pistol grip stock with checkering on the forearm and grip and shadow-line cheekpiece.

Very fine as professionally refinished/engraved. The rifle retains 97% plus of the matte blue finish some slight handling/storage marks overall. The stock is also very fine with sharp checkering and only slight scratches. Mechanically excellent with crisp markings and engraving patterns.
