A great example of the late Dave Higginbotham's attention to craftsmanship. This single shot, falling block action features a heavy octagon barrel with a well polished deep blue finish. Fitted with a dovetailed blade with brass bead front and elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights. The breech block and hammer are a polished blue, with a checkered thumb extension on the block. The receiver and grip frame are a vibrant casehardened finish, with a two line company address on the upper tang, and the serial number on the lower. Mounted on a smooth oil finished select walnut forearm with Schnabel tip, and smooth straight grip stock, with a casehardened semi-crescent buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus blue and casehardened finishes with only minimal handling marks. The wood is excellent with one indentation on the left face of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
