Marked "W. & C. SCOTT & SON MAKERS & PATENTEES, LONDON" on the solid rib. Single steel bead front sight on a concaved rib, small wedge of engraving on the rib just forward of the breech, Damascus barrels with 2-7/8 chambers and shell extractors. Nickel finished side lock action is engraved with dog and ducks scenes on the left and right lock plates. The action is further engraved with intricate swirling floral and vine borders as well as detailed wedges on the flats, trigger guard, break lever, tangs and hammers. Checkered, round knob pistol grip stock and splinter forearm with engraved hardware. The buttstock has a blank initial oval on the underside and a checkered horn butt plate. 14 inch length of pull.

Very fine. The barrels have 90% of the original brown finish with small scattered dings, surface scratches and small areas of edge wear. The receiver has 95% of the original nickel finish, with some small areas of flaking at the hard edges. All markings and engravings are very sharp and clear. The wood is very fine as lightly sanded and refreshed showing scattered small pressure indentations and some scratches. The initial oval and buttplate do not sit flush with the wood. Mechanically excellent.
