The pistol has a box lock action and has dual hammers, single folding trigger, post front sight on the concave rib and ebonized grip. The frame has nearly full coverage scroll engraving. The top of the action is marked with an "LE" logo over "1088", and the left side has a banner marked "Lefaucheux/a Paris".

Fair. The pistol has patches of oxidation overall with some bright areas on the frame and traces of finish on the barrels. Most of the engraving designs and markings crisp. The grip is good with two horizontal cracks, the upper tang screw absent and some minor handling marks. The action is fine.
