Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with a set of flip-up volley sights, receiver-mounted magazine cutoff, sliding dust cover and "LEE-SPEED/PATENTS" marked socket. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a short upper handguard, sling swivels, "1" on the right side behind the grasping grooves and a smooth buttplate. A small oil container is present in the buttstock compartment

Very fine, with 60% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge wear, scattered spotting and light handling marks. The stock is very good, with a thin crack on the left side ahead of the socket, some play in the buttstock, chipping around the ramrod slot (ramrod absent) and scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically very good.
