Gauge: 7.65 mm auto
Barrel: 3 1/2 inch flat sided

Item Views: 3791

Class: Curio & Relic Handgun
Description:

Produced by Rheinische Metallwaren & Maschinenfabrik Sömmerda after their purchase of the Dreyse company. The left side is marked "K.S. GEND .187"; this indicates original manufacture and issuance to the Royal Saxon Gendarmerie. A second marking on a milled potion of the slide reads "POLITI/shield/6636" indicating use by Norwegian police after WWII. This is a common marking on weapons captured by the Norwegians and repurposed domestically. This is not, however, very common on a weapon that even at that time would have been considered relatively out of date.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 50% original blue finish displaying areas of edge wear, moderate handling marks, some minor spotting and light dings throughout. Grips are very good with some handling marks, clear markings and crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
