The top of the receiver is marked with a "Star" over "1941" for the Tula Arsenal and the year of manufacture, and the left side has the Russian serial number and Cyrillic numbering, along with a small boxed "SA" Finnish capture and reissue proof mark. The stock is marked on the right face with the Tula arrow inside a star stamp over "1941". The left side is marked with cyrillic lettering and the number "3134". Other small indistinguishable marks are found near the wrist. The scope mount appears to be an original WWII version with the small star on the back along with a non-matching rifle serial number. The scope is a correct WWII Tokarev version that is marked on the front end with the Russian manufacturer's proof mark consisting of a small single "Star/Russian Hammer and Sickle/ 1940/No. 00808". Includes a set of stitched leather lens caps for the scope.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished/assembled. The metal components have 75% of the arsenal blue finish displaying areas of edge wear, moderate scratches, handling marks, spotting on the barrel shroud and some small dings. The wood is fair with areas of varnish loss and natural wood showing through, scattered scratches throughout and moderate to heavy pressure indentations. Mechanically very good. The scope is very good with some light spotting and edge wear. Optics are very clear.
