Dated 1940 on top of the chamber and marked "42" on the toggle, with "eagle/655" proofs on the extension and barrel, and "eagle/swastika" firing proofs on the barrel, extension and breechblock. Finish is full blue with matching exterior numbers and checkered grips. Two blue finished alloy based magazines are included; both are numbered to match the pistol, and one has the proper "+" stamp. With a brown leather flap holster marked "WaA279" (Gehrckens, Pinneberg) and dated 1940 on the rear, and a metal loading/takedown tool.

Very fine with 85% of the original blue finish showing light war on the high points and sides of the barrel, streaks of a dull gray patina on the grip straps, and minimal spotting and handling marks overall. Grips are very good with some light dents. The holster is fair as repaired with one belt loop replaced and the other showing damaged stitching, mild scuffs, and a few cuts on the front of the body and flap. Mechanically excellent.
