Manufactured after the end of the Weimar Republic, the "sneak" lugers were an early part of the Nazi Party's illegal re-armament program. Fixed sights, with a blank chamber and the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle link. Commercial-style "crown/N" proofs are present on the extension and breechblock, with a "WaA66" droop-wing military eagle proof on the right side of the extension, Police-style sear and magazine well safeties (the latter deactivated), and a "L.Sch.185." unit mark on the front strap. Fitted with straw/niter blue small parts, checkered grips, and a blue magazine with an alloy base. Included with the pistol is a "crown/L" marked, 1918 dated C. Holste & Company (Munich) holster with cleaning rod.

Fine with 50% plus of the original blue finish showing areas of gray patina, bright edge wear and scattered spotting and handling marks. The takedown latch is a mixed-numbered replacement part. The grips are good with some dents and oil staining overall and mild chipping around the magazine safety. The holster is fair having been modified from an Artillery Luger holster with tears in the leather and the rod being stuck in the pouch. Mechanically fine.
