Produced concurrently with Mauser's "eagle/L" Police Lugers, only 625 Mauser Banner Luger pistols were made for commercial sale in 1941 with the remainder of the factory production capacity tied up on Wehrmacht/Nazi Party contracts. Blade and notch sights, with "41" on top of the chamber, the Mauser Banner on the front toggle link and "P.08" on the left side of the frame. Matching external numbers are present overall, with "eagle/N" commercial proofs on the receiver and breechblock. Finished in a full blue, with checkered grips and a black plastic magazine base. With a brown leather flap holster, marked "AWM/2" on the front and "N.BURGHARD/PASING" on the back.

Very good as professionally refinished and remarked overall with 98% of the current blue showing some minor spotting and handling marks overall. The takedown lever has been restamped and shows some denting beneath the blue. Grips are very fine with some dents concentrated on the right panel. The holster is good with some cracking and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
