This is a semi-automatic copy of the famous Russian RPD squad machine gun. These were the first true Squad Automatic Weapon and were highly successful throughout Vietnam. This example was produced using a newly made, semi-automatic rifle receiver combined with a Warsaw Pact/Soviet set of parts along with the correct number of U.S. made parts making it completely "922 compliant". It retains the belt-fed mechanism and the 100 round drum. It has the later pattern laminated type furniture; contoured handguard, ribbed pistol grip, and larger profile buttstock with butt-trap compartment. It is complete with the correct style spring loaded bipod, canvas case, manual, one drum magazine, drum magazine pouch with strap, oiler and combination adjustment tool/cleaning kit.

Excellent with 99% original matte black finish showing some light handling marks overall. The wood is excellent with a couple of minor handling marks on the buttstock and few minor pressure dents on the forearm. The canvas case and magazine pouch are very good with tight stitching. Mechanically excellent.
