This is an M4 pattern carbine with a Picatinny railtop upper receiver, with no sights. It has a 1-9 twist DPMS barrel with M16A2 style flash hider. Standard markings on the lower receiver. Fitted with a checkered pistol grip, six-position telescoping buttstock, ribbed round handguard, with a small upper rail just forward of the guard.

This is a new Bushmaster XM15-E2S carbine, that is similar to the original Colt M4 carbines in that they have a 16 1/2 inch barrel with a "1-9" inch twist, and non-chrome lined, for improved accuracy, and fitted with a standard M16A2 style flash hider. Picatinny railtop upper receiver. The barrel has the standard front sight base with the bayonet lug and fixed front sight post with an adjustable 600 meter rear sight. With a six-position telescoping buttstock, forward assist and case deflector bump on the right side. It is fitted with the short, ribbed round forearm, and a checkered pistol grip. Includes numbers matching factory box, black nylon sling, chamber flag and papers.
