Description:

1) Solingen Randall Model 18 Attack-Survival knife, 12 3/4 inches overall with a 7 1/2 inch sawback blade with etched scimitar-flanked "RANDALL MADE/SOLINGEN S" address and "STAINLESS" stamp on the left side, thick brass oval guard with dual lanyard holes, smooth steel tube grip and "crutch tip" rubber pommel cap. With a Randall Made sheath with brass rivets, steel snaps, sharpening stone and tie-down thongs. These early 18s show a "flattened" profile to the grip where it meets the guard, with the rubber tip being a temporary measure while they found a threading arrangement they were satisfied with. Reportedly Vietnam war era. 2) Randall Model 15 Airman knife, 10 inches overall with a 5 1/2 inch carbon steel blade, thick brass oval guard, screw-mounted green tenite finger groove grip and an extended full tang with thong. With a brown leather Randall sheath, brass/steel rivets, brown "RANDALL MADE" snaps, sharpening stone and tie downs.

Rating Definition:

1) Excellent, with light handling marks on the blade, a small amount of verdigris on the guard and around the rivets, and a few scuffs on the leather. 2) Excellent, the blade is lightly polished, with minor reshaping of the tip and minor shallow pitting on the tang. Mild verdigris is present on the rivets and guard, with a few scratches on the grip and some darkening/scuffing of the leather.
