The rifle features a nicely floral scroll engraved receiver with gold inlaid border accents, gold "WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-" on the left wall and serial number "UG530" in gold on the right side of the receiver ring. The barrel is manufactured without sights, with double gold inlaid bands (one thin, one wide) around the muzzle and gold "1 of 1,000" on the right rear. The breech end is marked with the Winchester oval proof. The floor plate, trigger guard and grip cap are engraved with the same floral scroll design, with a big horn ram in the center of the floor plate with gold bordering. Jeweled bolt and follower, with floral scroll engraving on the bolt handle knob. The receiver is similarly floral engraved with gold inlaid borders. The left rear of the receiver is signed "BOTTEGA C. GIOVANELLI", meaning the work was done in the Brescia Italy engraving studio of Cesare Giovanelli. Mounted with a nicely figured American black walnut pistol grip stock with fancy bordered checkered forearm and wrist, Schnabel forend, grip cap, solid rubber Winchester recoil pad and sling swivels. Includes a walnut display case, with pedestal style stands and a wine colored interior.

Very good overall, with 98% original blue finish. The barrel has scattered small spots of oxidation down the length, this same type of spotting can be found more sparsely on the trigger guard and floor plate as well. The wood is very good, with attractive grain, and some nice figuring. The stock displays scattered light abrasions, small scratches, and light to moderate pressure indentations. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good, with scattered light to moderate storage marks.
