This rifle was manufactured in 1904 and features a special order part octagon barrel with standard markings, a beaded blade front sight, and an adjustable sporting rear sight. The frame has the model and trademark information on the upper tang and the serial number on the bottom. It is mounted with a fancy grade forearm and straight grain buttstock with an oiled finish and rifle buttplate. The rifle is marked with the "WP" proofmark on the barrel and frame.

Fine. The rifle retains 80% of the original blue finish and 40% of the original case colors.There is a gray-brown patina where the finish has faded on the frame, some light scratches, and patches of slight spotting. The revarnished wood is very fine with some minor dings. The action is excellent.
