This Model 1886 rifle was manufactured in 1892 and has several desirable features including the desirable casehardened receiver, special order half magazine and shotgun butt, beaded blade front sight, and the rare folding leaf "Winchester Express" rear sight with silver sight lines. In addition to the standard early style Winchester markings, the rifle has a series of London proofmarks on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech.

Very fine as partially professionally refinished (barrel). The barrel retains 98% plus of the correct rust blue finish. 60% of the original case colors remain. The wood is very fine with some light scratches and small dings. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
