This late 19th/early 20th century box of ammunition has a green label head lined "50 'WINCHESER' 50/TRADE MARK./.44 Caliber Winchester Cartridges." on top. The front side of the box has a Winchester Model 1873 carbine picture label. The rear panel has a guarantee that these cartridges "will be found superior to all others for use" in Model 1873 and 1892 rifles. The side panels have the Winchester trademark information. The "LICENSE TO THE TRADE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" information on the bottom of the box has a purple "VOID" stamp.

Very fine overall. The box is sealed and has some minor shelf/storage wear.
