This rifle was manufactured in 1911 and features a part octagon barrel fitted with a German silver blade and adjustable sporting sights and marked with the two line address ahead of the rear sight, the caliber designation and two line nickel steel marking on the left, and the "WP" proofmark at the breech. The receiver has the "WP" proof, the serial number on the bottom, and the three line model and trademark information on the upper tang. It is fitted with a full length magazine tube and standard smooth forearm and straight wrist buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The receiver shows traces of an old possibly period refinished blue with only slight spotting. The barrel retains 95% plus of the original blue finish and 45% of the subdued case colors and shows only minor handling and storage marks, a few patches of spotting/oxidation primarily on the buttplate, and some slight edge wear. The wood is very fine with glossy surfaces, a few slight scrapes, and some slight pressure marks. Mechanically excellent.
