Description:

This pair of pistols have one piece barrel and frame assemblies with elliptical muzzles for easier loading, light engraving on the action including "T.E." in script, and smooth bag shaped grips. The pistols appear to have been produced as flintlocks and then converted by changing the hammers, removing the frizzens and flash pans, and adding plates and percussion nipples.

Rating Definition:

Good as period converted to percussion. The pistol has an aged patina on the brass with some small marks and scratches and a mixed gray-brown patina with light oxidation. The hammer has a crack at the base of the spur. The wood is fine as repaired and has some overall light scratches and handling marks. The action is fine.
