This Winchester Hotchkiss rifle is one of 1,474 first models produced for the Navy and was manufactured in 1879.

Fair to fine. The rifle displays primarily a mottled brown patina with some traces of the original blue finish. There are some areas of minor pitting. The stock is fair with some cracks at the cutoff and some generally minor dings and scratches. The magazine follower is stuck/obstructed, but the bolt functions properly. The markings are clear.
