This New Frontier features Class D factory scroll engraving; the front strap is the only area not engraved. The top of the barrel is marked with the one-line address. The left side is marked " COLT NEW FRONTIER S.A.A. .45", and the two-line, three patent date marking is on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt. The frame is casehardened and the remaining metal is blue. It is equipped with the standard high front sight and adjustable rear sight and is fitted with smooth walnut grips with gold Colt medallions. The left side of the front grip strap is marked "COLT ENG" faintly under the grip panel. Includes a brown leatherette Custom Shop case with gold velvet fitted lining, papers and hanging tag. The factory letter confirms the configuration including the engraving and that it was shipped to Graf and Sons in Mexico, Missouri, on March 26, 1980, on order #10723 in a shipment of three guns of this type.

Near new in case with hang tag and very minimal light handling marks. The grips are excellent. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent.
