This unique and beautiful rifle features extensive floral scroll engraving on the action, bolt handle and trigger guard as well as a masterfully carved stock. The barrel features a spiral hammer forged pattern and a highly polished deep blue finish. With an adjustable ramped blade front and windage adjustable rear express sights. The action is fitted with swivel style scope mounts, engraved and gold inlaid rings and a Zeiss DIAVARI 2.5-10x52 scope. The action is beautifully high relief engraved with subtle yet eye catching gold borders and highlighting, and is marked in gold "DESIGNED FOR DR. J.B. PINSKI/BY MANFRED HECHTL" on the left side. The magazine has a highly detailed high relief game scene engraved with gold borders. The stock is a dark nicely figured oil finished European walnut with fine line checkering, floral scroll carved borders, Schnabel tip, sling swivels, "JBP" monogrammed grip cap Bavarian style cheekpiece and a solid recoil pad. As stated the stock is finely carved on the right side with a highly detailed game scene. The case is leather bound with a "JBP" monogrammed brass disk on the lid, Manfred Hechtl labels on the inside of the lid and a wine colored lining. The case contains two extra magazines with fully engraved game scene floorplates, oil bottle, screwdriver, cleaning rod, snap cap, leather sling for the rifle, leather carry straps for the case, bore brush, barrel swab and papers.

Extremely fine as professionally built, master engraved, gold inlaid and finished. With 99% of the blue, some scattered light handling marks. The wood is very fine, with minimal light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent, with some minor storage marks on the exterior. A wonderful example of German gunsmithing and metal work.
