This rifle replaced the Model 1903 in 1933 and is considered by many to be the best semi-automatic rimfire rifle ever produced. Manufactured in 1950, this example has dovetail front beaded blade and elevation adjustable sporting rear sights and is mounted on a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with tubular magazine and checkered steel buttplate. The left side of the barrel has the Winchester trademark information and "MODEL 63 .22 LONG RIFLE/SUPER SPEED AND SUPER X", and the standard "WP" proofs on top of the receiver and barrel.

Excellent overall with 97% plus original blue finish displaying some scattered light handling marks extremely light edge wear on the receiver and a few minor nicks. The wood is excellent with attractive grain and light handling marks mostly confined to the grip and forearm areas. Mechanically excellent.
