Manufactured in 1938. Single bead sight, 2 3/4" or shorter shells chamber, choked modified. "XG" with anchor proof present on left rear side of barrel after the serial number (which matches receiver). The right side of the barrel also is stamped with the anchor proof mark and the "R.E.P." inspectors mark. Standard markings with ribbed forearm, smooth pistol grip stock, and serrated composite factory buttplate.

Very fine overall. The shotgun retains 94% of the original blue finish with minor scattered scratches on the receiver and some dings on the left side of the barrel near the breech. The markings are clear. The wood is very good with scattered scratches, dings and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
