Manufactured in France from 1881 to 1979 with a single bead sight on a solid concave rib. Barrels featuring 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked open/improved cylinder with extractor. An extensive rosette and scroll engraving is featured on the sliding breech action with action lever marked "DARNE". The barrels are blue. The frame, trigger guard and sliding action have a French gray finish. Double triggers and the left side of action has the safety. It has a checkered forearm with a horn tip insert and semi-pistol grip stock with a serrated plastic buttplate and sling swivels. The length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Very good overall. With 80% original finish. With scattered light handling marks on the barrels and light discoloration on the sliding breech. The wood is very good with well defined checkering, general handling marks and some very light indentations. Mechanically very good, the sliding breech locks up tightly against the breech face of the barrels.
