This small pocket pistol has a gold band and engraved designs on the muzzle and English proof on the bottom of the turn off barrel. The round action has martial motifs on each side and has "LONDON" on the right below the flash pan. Two English proofmarks are stamped just ahead of the folding trigger. There is a sliding safety catch which prevents the weapon from going off at half cock. It is fitted with a bag shaped walnut grip with checkering, a horn grip cap.

Fine. The pistol had gray and aged patina overall with some light pitting and minor marks. There is a notch in the barrel on the top left near the breech. The grip is fine. It is a little loose, has crisp checkering, and a round indent the butt possibly indicating the prior presence of another fitting. The action is fine, but the safety does not hold the pan closed. The markings and designs are legible.
