Description:

Produced during WWI, the "trommel" (snail) magazine was intended for use with the 1914 Artillery Luger and the MP18 sub-machine gun. Blued steel construction, with a smooth top, single reinforcing rib on the bottom, matching "6335" numbers, telescoping winding handle and hexagonal AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitaets-Gesellschaft, or General Electric Company) proof stamp on the underside. "E44" has been painted on the side twice. With an unmarked stamped steel dust cover and MP18 adaptor sleeve.

Rating Definition:

Good, with a mixed brown and gray patina, along with some scattered handling marks. Spring is strong.
