This is an example of a late Mauser Banner Police contract Luger pistol chambered in 9 mm Luger. The top of the chamber is marked "41" for the year of manufacture, and the standard Mauser Banner trademark is on the toggle. The left side of the barrel extension, the underside of the barrel and the left side of the breech block are all stamped with a single "Eagle/N" commercial proof acceptance mark along with the "Eagle/L" Police proof on the right side. It has the standard safety and extractor markings and has the partial sear safety spring on top of the side plate. The pistol is numbered in the military fashion with the full serial number "9334" stamped on the front of the frame, underside of the barrel and the left side of the barrel extension and the last two digits "34" stamped on various small parts. It has the late production dark salt blued finish on all the various parts and is fitted with checkered walnut grips. It is complete with an all blue "fxo/Eagle/37" marked magazine with an unmarked black plastic late war Army magazine.

Excellent with 97% of the blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear with blue loss on the side of the muzzle, front frame rails and side plate hump. The grips are in excellent condition with nice, distinct checkering on both sides showing minor handling marks and nicks. Mechanically excellent. This excellent Nazi Police Luger has all matching numbers except the magazine as noted above.
