It features fixed sights, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side of the barrel, two-line address and patents on top, "PROPERTY OF U S M C" on the top strap, "US" on the left side of the frame, a lanyard ring on the butt, 5-screw frame, a pinned barrel, checkered grips, a lanyard ring on the butt and an after market storage box. Having never seen USMC markings on this model of revolver and without documentation, we cannot document its authenticity.

Very fine with 85% of the blue finish showing bright wear along the high edges, scattered spotting and mild handling marks. Grips are good with some chips and dings. Mechanically very good.
