Has the standard blade front sight and a parkerized rear sight that is stamped "R" on the right side of the leaf and does not have the 2,850 yard volley notch at the top. The bolt is stamped "C13" on the front of the safety lug. The floor plate is stamped with a flaming bomb over "N.R.A.". Mounted on a walnut straight grip stock with grasping grooves, 1 reinforcing bolt, a boxed "C.N./1913" cartouche with flattened corners, a script "P" in a circle proofmark on the bottom of the wrist, an "S" stamped at the tip of the stock and a fine checkered flat steel buttplate with trapdoor. The handguard is the post 1910 style with a sight clearance cut and metal clips.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 70% plus original blue finish remains with scattered surface rust, dings and wear with a mostly smooth brown/gray patina on the balance. There are some scattered spots of surface oxidation. The rear sight is a replacement Remington WWII era sight. The N.R.A. stamping is crisp. The stock is also very fine as revarnished with scattered dings, scratches and crisp cartouches. Mechanically excellent.
