These were a closed bolt, semi-automatic version of the famous WWII Thompson SMG. This example has the all steel upper and lower trigger groups with the 16 1/2 inch long barrel with cooling fins. The barrel is fitted with the Cutts style compensator and it has a fixed blade front sight with an adjustable folding rear sight, graduated from 2-6 (200-600 yards). With a standard 30 round stick magazine. Standard markings. It is fitted with a walnut buttstock, pistol grip and forend. Excellent overall. With 99% original blue finish, light scattered handling marks and a very small area of light spotting on the magazine release. The wood is excellent with light general handling marks and some small indentations on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good.
