This beautiful single action was produced in 1984 at the Colt factory Custom Shop and features a highly polished nickel finish and highly attractive rosewood grips. Built on the old style or black powder frame. With standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" barrel marking on the left side, one-line Hartford address on the top and the three-line/three-date patent marking on the left side of the frame. Revolver includes a French fitted display case with green velvet interior, Colt "woodgrain" box with Custom Shop end label numbered to the gun, shipping container and papers. Only 481 revolvers were produced in this configuration in 1984 out of an approximate 2,307 total production. The factory letter confirms the configuration including the rosewood stocks and basswood case. It also confirms it was shipped to Cherry's Sporting Goods in Geneseo, Illinois, on July 17, 1984.

Near new in case with only minimal light handling marks. The grips are excellent. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent with some light handling marks on the exterior. Box is very good with some edge and corner wear.
