This revolver's frame was manufactured in 1979 and is one of just 1,452 revolver produced in the P-1756 configuration between 1980 and 1986 according to Wilkerson's survey data discussed on pages 87 and 88 of "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1976-1986." Wilkerson also notes that this model configuration was first assembled in January of 1980 and only a total of 4,705 revolvers in the varying configurations were produced from 1976 to 1986 in .44 Special with nickel plated finish. The revolver has the standard markings and features including matching serial numbers on the frame, grip frame, and the smooth walnut grips. It comes in a matching numbered factory box with papers.

Excellent plus; as new in box. No cylinder drag line and no noticeable handling markings. The box is very good with some mild storage type wear.
