This rifle is marked "C. C." on the barrel behind the fixed rear sight. It has a brass blade front sight, engraved "G. GOULCHER" lock, engraved large oval patch box plate and patch box door, and a full length striped maple stock with brass forend cap and small cheek rest.

Good. The barrel and lock have a gray patina with some light spotting, oil staining on the hammer, and minor marks. The brass has an attractive aged patina. The wood is fine as repaired and has some minor scratches and pressure marks and a crack at the breech. The lock is fine. The markings are legible.

This short Kentucky rifle is signed "J*N*H" on the barrel and marked "KELKER & BROS/HARRISBURG" on the lock. The barrel has fixed brass blade and notch sights along with some light waving line accents around the rear notch. The nicely figured tiger maple stock has some lightly engraved German silver and brass fittings, an oval patch box, and small cheekpiece.

Fair as cut down. The barrel is a brown finish. The lock is a mottled gray patina with light pitting. The brass and German silver are lightly aged. The stock is fine and has some chips around the lock inlet and a crack at the tail of the patch box. The action needs some work. The markings are mostly legible.
