Measuring 24 3/8 inches in overall length, the sword is fitted with a 19 1/4 inch double edged spear point blade, unmarked with a set of single fullers, and no visible maker's marks. The hilt is of one piece stone construction with a lightly ribbed and grooved grip section flanked by a scroll pattern guard and pommel. Dark green in overall color with streaks of lighter color. The scabbard has a wooden core that has been extensively paneled with silver covering the entire exterior, which has been further accented with silver wire scroll overlays, raised sculpted designs of lions, dragons, and grotesque figures, and a number of semi-precious stone inlays including a set of 6-armed sunwheels and three-dimensional dragons on each side.

Fine overall. The blade shows a mixed brown and gray patina with some minor spotting concentrated near the tip. The hilt shows a few light scuffs, and the scabbard shows a mixed aged patina with some bright spots and handling marks. The stones are very good.
